Biography.

Suriadi Arif is an experienced and accomplished leader with more than 30 years of progressively senior responsibility in legal affairs, governance, capital-markets investment and corporate management across the Krakatau Steel group and its subsidiaries. As Chairman and President Director of Bapelkes Krakatau Steel from 2019 to 2024, he oversaw strategic decision-making and organisational development.

He served as Commercial Director of PT Krakatau Medika in 2019. He was previously SVP Corporate Secretary of PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk from 2017 to 2018, with responsibility for regulatory compliance and stakeholder communications, and served as Investment Director from 2015 to 2017 and Financial Director from 2014 to 2015 at Dana Pensiun Mitra Krakatau.

Earlier at PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk, he served as Division Head and Manager of GCG & Risk Management from 2012 to 2014, Division Head and Manager of HCIA from 2009 to 2012, and Division Head and Manager of the Legal Office from 2004 to 2009. These roles developed broad experience across governance, risk, human capital, legal, financial, operational and strategic matters.
